Monthly Support for Vulnerable Households

Project Overview

Location: Kyegegwa District, Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, Itambabiniga Zone

Project Activity Report: YAWORA Foundation, with support from FOUR SISTERS FOUNDATION, is implementing the Hope on the Horizon project, a humanitarian initiative providing monthly food and soap support to vulnerable and mother-headed families. The project aims to combat hunger and improve food security in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. So far, 100+ households consisting of 100+ individuals have directly benefited, while around 100 additional people have benefited indirectly.

Key activities: Procurement team meetings, monthly leadership meetings, community surveys using Kobo tools, procurement and distribution of maize flour and soap, and transportation support for beneficiaries.

Target Group

Target: We are mobilizing more resources to reach 100+ mother-headed families, vulnerable and the most elderly people.
